KraussMaffei offers three "Quick Model Change" fixtures:

RotoCore: Two moulds, each with its own compressor and top wall, are installed on two upper frame supports, positioned back-to-back, and rotate into and out of the fixture on a longitudinal axis driven via a gear box.

RollerCore: Two moulds, each with its own compressor and top wall, are mounted on two independent supports able to rotate independently. Each rollout mechanism is driven via two independent gear boxes. The advantages of this design include easy access to the fixture for maintenance from the platform and maintenance access to both moulds.

TransferCore: Mould changes are performed by means of a double shuttle which runs along the platform, in front of the line of cabinet fixtures. A hook device, driven by an electric motor, moves the current mould out of the fixture onto the shuttle and replaces it with the new mould from shuttle.
