Mixing heads MK 2,0
In comparison to other manufacturing concepts, the mixing heads MK 2,0 from KraussMaffei offer a number of advantages for the production of sandwich parts.
Principle
The components are homogeneously mixed in the mixing chamber. A nozzle that is fastened to the mixing head by means of a retaining nut generates a fan jet. The width of the fan jet can be varied as required by adjusting the distance from the nozzle to the part or by using a different nozzle.
Technology
The mixing head design incorporates air-cleaning for the nozzle; fast cleaning saves time. Pour rates are between 20 and 150 g/s depending on the mixing head size.
