KraussMaffei and SHL Group substantiate long-term partnership for high-quality machines

(Munich, Taipei, June 3, 2013) KraussMaffei and SHL Group (Scandinavian Health Ltd, Taipei (Taiwan)) substantiates their long-term partnership for high-quality machines on the occasion of Chinaplas 2013. During the trade show KraussMaffei produced high-quality surfaces in one shot from a combination of injection molding and reaction process machinery on a CX 200-750. SHL Group bought the exhibit and an additional 10 CX machines for their plants in Taiwan, where now more than 130 KraussMaffei machines are producing medical devices.

High precision, high capacity

“With the CX series of machines, we have further enhanced reliability and continue to consistently produce high-quality components for the medical and healtcare industry worldwide”, emphasizes Roger Samuelsson, CEO SHL Group. The company is the world’s largest privately-owned designer, developer and manufacturer of advanced drug delivery devices, such as auto injectors, pen injectors and inhalers. When manufacturing these systems the quality of all components must be absolutely identical. Thus, verifiable compliance with the most stringent quality standards must be guaranteed when running production 24/7. “Our goal is zero error tolerance, a goal that our partners must share with us. KraussMaffei is a preferred while excellent partner for us”, Samuelsson stated. Now more than 130 KraussMaffei CX machines are producing medical devices at several SHL plants in Taiwan.
