(Munich, May 29, 2018) Josef Art is the new Head of the Business Unit Foam at KraussMaffei Reaction Process Machinery. He is taking over from Wolfgang Frehsdorf, who will be retiring at the end of June.

The graduate industrial engineer Josef Art has 20 years of professional experience in leading positions in various companies such as BMW, Sellner Group and Misslbeck Kunststoffzentrum (Plastics Center). Most recently, he was Managing Director at Votteler, the manufacturer of paint systems, where he was in charge of Sales & Development. Josef Art sees the main focus of his new task as Head of BU Foam primarily in strengthening and further developing the KraussMaffei portfolio of high-quality system solutions for PUR processing, as well as in expanding the worldwide sales and service network. "We are delighted to have gained in Josef Art an internationally experienced expert as Head of BU Foam, with whom we will continue to expand this important business unit," explains Nicolas Beyl, President of the Reaction Process Machinery segment in the KraussMaffei Group, and Managing Director of KraussMaffei Technologies GmbH.

Wolfgang Frehsdorf to retire

Josef Art's predecessor Wolfgang Frehsdorf has worked at KraussMaffei for over 30 years. During this period, he has played a decisive role, first as Technical Manager, then as Head of the Business Unit Foam, in the development of KraussMaffei Reaction Process Machinery. "We thank Wolfgang Frehsdorf for his great commitment and significant contribution to the business success of KraussMaffei Reaction Process Machinery. We wish him all the best for the next phase of his life," adds Beyl.
