Molybdenum welding layer

Optimum protection

The parallel twin screws are armored as standard on the flights with a molybdenum welding layer patented by KraussMaffei. In addition, they are equipped with deep-nitrided barrels. The material used is a nitrided steel, in which a particularly high surface hardness is achieved in the barrel bores.
