ScrewCon 3 is a highly flexible and extremely user-friendly software for configuring twin-screw extruder processing sections on a PC. It provides schematic representation of housing and screw elements as well as visualization and documentation of the process section set-up.

ISO-Board Schaumtandex lines are the world's most successful systems for XPS thermal insulation boards. Amazing? Not really. KraussMaffei is well familiar with the challenging requirements that a Schaumtandex system must fulfill to create added value - both today and in the future.

KraussMaffei provides molybdenum-based PTA hardfacing as standard wear protection for the top root-face edges on all parallel and conical twin screws. 

The C-Check measures the conductivity at variable production speeds. The system determines the electrical conductivity of the TREAD profile without contact. The measurement is performed in real time and can be visualized via a local control panel. An integrated interface also allows data transfer.

Costs can be reduced and quality improved by automatic hose centering heads synchronized with an X-ray measuring system that continuously measures the wall thickness,  the eccentricity and the outer diameter of the rubber hoses.
