Residence Time & Torque Monitoring

Residence time and torque monitoring guarantees maximum process transparency by displaying the residence time and plasticizing torque in the actual value table. The machine function continuously calculates the age of the plastic melt in the plasticizing unit and compares the actual values with the specified target values. Reject parts can be defined via the tolerance ranges, and alarms or machine actions can be triggered if an error rate is exceeded.

  • Increased quality through continuous monitoring of material residence time
  • Improved process transparency through display of residence time and plasticizing torque
  • Reduced life cycle costs through material and energy savings
