InMold Labeling (IML)
For individual, functional surfaces
Product information
InMold labeling (IML) and film insert molding (FIM) are processes for decorating and functionalizing plastic components directly in the injection molding process. Pre-printed films or multi-layer inserts are automatically inserted into the mold, back-injected, and firmly bonded to the component.
IML: Use of non-preformed decorative films – ideal for flat or slightly curved surfaces
On request, a ColorForm PUR coating can be added to the surface – for a brilliant appearance and lasting protection against scratches, chemicals, and weathering.
