Information for KMC customers on Corona pandemic

The coronavirus pandemic has created significant uncertainty, both in our industry and in our personal lives. The KraussMaffei Group as a whole is actively monitoring the spread of novel COVID-19, and its disruption to the global supply chain. Our main focus continues to be the health and safety of our employees, as well as the continuity of operations with minimal disruptions.

We hope that all your employees, their families and friends are safe and well, and we encourage you to take the precautions encouraged by local and federal officials.

During the last days, we have continued to work though disruption in our supply chain as vendor facilities are shutting down, ports are being congested and shipments are delayed. As we are considered critical to the supply chain of Essential Businesses by both the Kentucky and Michigan orders, we have done our best to maintain timely operations for our customers, especially those in sectors that provide goods to the front-line of the COVID-19 fight.

We have greatly increased our local stock of parts as other parts of the globe feel the effects of this crisis, and we are constantly shifting the dispatch of our North American service technicians to keep critical producers running.

However, Krauss-Maffei Corporation must still adapt to the current realities and we must take additional measures to protect the well-being of our employees, who have been serving our customers with pride throughout this crisis.

Service dispatching and spare parts shipments are still running

While the above events have led to slower response times in some instances, our Florence, KY operation remains available for spare parts shipments and service technician dispatching. Parts and service orders should still be placed with your current KM contact, or if you are redirected, their back-up contact. We will inform you of parts and service availability real time as requests are made and processed.

We encourage you to send Requests for Quote for New Machines, as well as our Stock Machines, and continue to work with us on current quotes we have provided; please reach out to your normal sales representative regarding any new equipment.
