The LearningPod is our answer to the challenges of integrating employees in the production environment (blue collar) into the digital infrastructure.
The KraussMaffei LearningPod is a flexible, extremely mobile (learning) booth that can be easily integrated into production environments and enables seamless interaction with existing digital learning management systems or intranets.
When supervising frontline workers, we offer the LearningPod as a solution for one of the most challenging tasks: balancing learning time and actual absence from work until the employee achieves learning success. The concept behind it is very simple.

Efficient training with mobile learning cells
As a traditional mechanical engineering company, we face the same challenges as many other production and logistics companies: how to effectively integrate store floor employees into the learning environment.
A frequent criticism from foremen and team leaders is the difference between actual learning time and actual lost work time. Because on the store floor, TIME is the decisive currency!
Long distances to kiosk solutions can quickly lead to up to 45 minutes of lost work time with a learning time of around 15 minutes.
The solution: the LearningPod
At KraussMaffei, we are shortening these distances in the long term. With the LearningPod, we bring the learning portal directly to the employees. We train sequentially, department by department. The LearningPods are positioned in central locations and brought directly to the relevant production area as required. A pallet truck is all that is needed to position the LearningPod quickly and flexibly. Connection is straightforward via a standard power cable with an EU earthed plug.

With this approach, we eliminate long distances and significantly reduce downtimes. This leaves more time for the essentials: production.

The KraussMaffei LearningPod impresses with its functional design, high level of customizability and clear focus on the production environment.
As an 'all-in-one' solution with no installation effort, it sets new standards. The base body is printed in one piece from recycled polymer using additive manufacturing, which minimizes assembly work, optimizes the carbon footprint and enables recycling.
The low weight and integrated transport skids make the LearningPod ultra-mobile in any configuration - a decisive advantage over conventional meeting pods.
