Update, 20 April 2020
On Monday, 20 April 2020, the corona-related closures of our German sites will end. Work will be resumed step by step and in compliance with the strictest hygiene measures. Among other things, all employees will be given face masks and they will be required to maintain a minimum distance of two meters between them.
During our site closures, production, assembly and delivery of the completed machines were discontinued. Delays in delivery are therefore going to be a likely result. If there will be delays, detailed information on the individual status of any project and machine will be provided by your responsible sales representative or project manager in the next few days.
However, due to the legal exit and travel limitations, there may still be restrictions on our part, especially with regard to assembly and commissioning.
The deployment of our technicians must be arranged individually. They usually work and travel alone while they minimize contacts and take all necessary hygiene measures into account.
For maintenance work you can also use our new remote "smartAssist" service, which is available free of charge until the end of June. The app enables maintenance work without the physical presence of our service technicians.
The corona pandemic requires rapid action and expanded production capacities. In our online marketplace we have a comprehensive range of stock machines, some of which are available immediately and can also be easily converted for medical technology applications.
We are convinced that KraussMaffei and its clients will jointly master the current challenges. Stay healthy!
